When our heritage chickens began to moult, I collected their pretty feathers. The chicken and egg paintings and felted nests were inspired by my ‘ladies’ who provided us with lovely brown eggs. The series of beautifully crafted nests were hand-felted by my daughter, Lisa Trefzger Clarke. The eggs were made by melting glass and casting them in forms.
