This series of acrylic paintings depicts snowy landscapes in the Kawartha region. Our husky’s favourite season is winter of course. She furiously digs burrows into the snow and contentedly sleeps there most of the day. She loves walks down side roads and wooded trails in the area, sniffing the tracks of wild turkeys, foxes and the occasional deer. The shadows and highlights on the snowy landscape fascinate me. They are so crisp and blue.
