I’m inspired by the natural world and the ebb and flow of the seasons in the Kawartha Iakes. The ripples in my garden pond and the dancing reflections along the shoreline of the lake are captivating. The frogs that overwintered in the pond are so tame. They sun themselves on the water cabbage, lily pads and water hyacinths and are not at all camera shy. I enjoy the artistic challenge of combining the animals and plants and the elements of form, colour and light in a way that leads the eye through the composition.
